Martin Dove - UK
Director
Martin joined HLSP from Teamwork Management Services, an
independent clinical healthcare company where his clients included
the Department of Health, the National Assembly for Wales, the
Healthcare Commission, the Health Service Executive (Ireland),
Strategic Health Authorities, PCTs, NHS Trusts and the wider public
and private healthcare market. Prior to joining Teamwork, Martin
was the Chief Financial Officer of an NHS PPP and also spent seven
years as the Director of Finance at Royal United Hospital, Bath NHS
Trust. Martin's areas of expertise include clinical redesign,
capacity planning, financial turnaround and investment projects.
Martin has experience of PPP, PFI, LIFT and ITC projects; he is
also an Office of Government (OGC) Gateway Review team
leader.
Shirley Jones
- Consultant
Shirley joined HSLP from from the Department of Health
Performance Support Team (previously the Modernisation Agency)
where she was an Associate Director working with challenged NHS
organisations. Shirley has held a number of roles within the NHS,
including Director of Modernisation for a PCT, General Manager for
Rehabilitation Services for an NHS Trust and Deputy Directorate
Manager for Neuroscience Directorate. Shirley has extensive
knowledge of the theories surrounding organisational change and
human resource development linked to performance improvement and
the ability to articulate in to practical solutions. She has strong
diagnostic skills and experience working at board level
understanding operational problems including leadership and
motivation.
Janet Duberley
- Director of Reviews, NMC QA Programme
Janet Duberley is a registered adult and sick children’s nurse. She
was Nurse Executive Director at Gloucestershire Royal NHS Trust
(1993 – 2002) for 8 years with responsibility for Clinical
Governance. She developed and implemented revised clinical nursing
practice policy and audit, and has extensive clinical and strategic
policy experience in services for children. Janet is the Project
Director for the Nursing and Midwifery Council QA programme.
Janet James - Deputy Director of Reviews, NMC QA
Programme
Janet James is a registered adult and specialist community public
health nurse. She has 5 years senior experience in education &
curriculum development at the School of Nursing and Midwifery,
University of Sheffield and also has significant international
experience working in highly politicised advisory and project
management environments. Janet is the Senior Managing Reviewer for
the Nursing and Midwifery Council QA programme.
Helen
Rayfield - UK Business Manager
Helen is a graduate in Information Management from University
College London and also holds an MA from the Open University.
Responsible for the commercial management of the UK division, Helen
draws on her extensive operations experience gained across a wide
variety of sectors.
Kay Edwards -
Junior consultant
Kay is an International Marketing Management graduate from the
University of Bournemouth and is responsible for the project
management of a number of UK projects. Kay has experience in
marketing, event co-ordination and PR.
Ben Bishop -
Operations Manager
Ben is a graduate from the University of Leeds who speaks
French, Spanish, and German. He has extensive experience as a tour
leader, organising logistics, events and managing large groups of
people. Ben is responsible for the day to day management of UK
division projects.
Laura Dale -
Operational Support Administrator
Laura is a recent graduate from the University of Reading and
provides operational support to current UK division projects. Laura
is responsible for project logistics and co-ordination and the
implementation of company and divisional systems and
procedures.
Belinda
Kitchin - Operational Support Administrator
Belinda graduated from Cardiff University with a degree in
Criminology and Sociology and prior to joining HLSP, worked for the
Environment Agency. Belinda now provides operational support to UK
division projects, co-ordinates project logistics and assists in
the delivery of project outputs.
Robyn
Hamilton - Divisional Adminstrator
Robyn attended the St James and Lucie Clayton College and now
provides comprehensive administrative support for the UK division.
Robyn is responsible for the management of the division's internal
systems and acts as the UK Director's personal assistant.
