In our first year HLSP reviewers completed a massive 262 programme
approvals for Education Providers throughout England, Scotland and
Northern Ireland. We are pleased to share some reflections on that
process and identify some of the lessons learned. We also offer a
peek into the logistical challenge, born with fortitude by our
project officers, of booking accommodation for reviewers at all
these events.
Nigel Harrison, Reviewer, shares
his experience of the approval processes.
The insights gained lead to an understanding of what constitutes
good practice in quality assurance processes, and increased
confidence in managing approval events effectively in your own
organisation.
The University of Southampton,
offers an education providers perspective on the approval
process, the value of the resources on the HLSP
website, the benefit of having key issues flagged up in advance, an
appreciation of peer review and the professionalism of most
reviewers and a good suggestion for improvement.
Louise Parr, Jess Reeve and
Nicole Rudman, our administrative team, share their experience
of booking accommodation for all the reviewers.
A simple task you might imagine but sometimes it can be a real
challenge.
