A review of health sector wide approaches in Africa
Veronica Walford for DFID, July 2007
The report documents current experience and lessons from health SWAps in Ghana, Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia and analyses implications for national partner and donor engagement in the health sector. It looks at the lessons from the implementation of SWAps in the context of these trends, and makes suggestions on how SWAp working can be reinvigorated and improved.
