Public-private mix for HIV (PPM-HIV)

PPM-HIV is a technical approach that can improve the contribution of the private sector to scaling up access to an essential package of prevention, care and treatment for HIV and AIDS.

This is achieved by coordinating public and private sector service delivery and aligning private sector activities with national public health goals.

PPM-HIV supports the roles of the public sector and encourages decision-makers to make the most of the private sector in the response to HIV, AIDS and TB.
