These studies represent the most comprehensive assessment to date of the health and health systems impact of public-private partnerships (PPPs) for improving access to pharmaceuticals in low and middle income countries, through long-term drug donation or discounted pricing agreements by research-based pharmaceutical companies.
The studies were initiated by the Initiative on Public-Private Partnerships for Health (IPPPH), funded by DFID, and designed and undertaken in association with the Institute. |
