The impact of public-private partnerships addressing access to pharmaceuticals in selected low and middle income countries

These studies represent the most comprehensive assessment to date of the health and health systems impact of public-private partnerships (PPPs) for improving access to pharmaceuticals in low and middle income countries, through long-term drug donation or discounted pricing agreements by research-based pharmaceutical companies.

The studies were initiated by the Initiative on Public-Private Partnerships for Health (IPPPH), funded by DFID, and designed and undertaken in association with the Institute.
