An independent assessment of progress on the implementation of the Global Task Team recommendations and support of national AIDS responses

This is the report of an an assessment of progress on the implementation of recommendations made by the The Global Task Team on Improving AIDS Coordination Among Multilateral Institutions and International Donors (GTT) in their June 2005 report.

The assessement, undertaken by HLSP, looked specifically at the provision of technical support as brokered by the UN system, and the harmonisation and alignment of international partners in order to rationalise and simplify the management of development funding by the national counterparts. The findings and recommendations were presented and endorsed at UNAIDS 20th PCB meeting in June 2007 (Document ref. UNAIDS/PCB(20)/CRP4).
