Contracting and performance management in the health sector
Roger England, 2000
This toolkit aims to assist in the preparation and use of health services 'contracts'.
Contracting becomes essential once a health care system has embarked upon separating funding from the provision of services by establishing more autonomous suppliers of services. The question is how to do it and how to manage the process for results. This tool attempts to give practical answers to these questions. It contains a model form of contract which has been reproduced and used in several countries.
In English and Spanish.
The toolkit was first published (funded by DFID) in 1997 and later revised and updated for the DFID Health Systems Resource Centre. |
