As part of the Multi-sectoral HIV and AIDS Support Programme (MSP), HLSP was commissioned to provide the South African Department of Health with a review of current best practice treatment models based on two community-based Multi-Drug Resistant Treatment models. Recommendations were then presented to a multi-donor review forum which resulted in the production of a definitive community-based treatment strategy.
