HLSP supported the Ministry of Health and Family and other stakeholders to improve the function, organisational structure and financing of the epidemiological surveillance and reporting system in Romania. This involved designing and implementing a National Action Plan for Disease Surveillance and Control, as well as revising the existing legislation to strengthen the framework of the national structure for the surveillance, control and prevention of infectious diseases.
