Independent review of the improving maternal, neonatal and child survival project

HLSP undertook an independent review of Bangladesh’s Maternal, Neonatal and Child Survival Project. Implemented by BRAC, UNICEF and the Government of Bangladesh, with support from AusAID, DFID and the Netherlands, the project aims to improve maternal, neonatal and infant mortality in selected districts by improving the demand and supply of services for the poor and socially excluded.

The review assessed the extent to which the project was achieving its stated objectives and provided recommendations to inform its future. Progress in implementing these recommendations was assessed in a 2011 review, also carried out by HLSP.
