HLSP is managing the Technical Resource Facility (TRF) to procure technical assistance on behalf of the Government of Pakistan for its National Maternal, Newborn and Child Health Programme (NMNCHP). It is also providing wider health support.

The TRF is responsible for:

• procuring and helping to manage quality technical assistance on behalf of the federal and provincial governments of Pakistan in the health sector
• helping to build the capacity of the federal and provincial governments to design, procure, manage and evaluate health sector technical assistance
• supporting the Government of Pakistan and DFID in monitoring and evaluating the NMNCHP.
