HLSP managed the implementation and monitoring of a £45 million portfolio of DFID support to the Government of India's National AIDS Control Programme II (NACP II). As the programme management organisation, HLSP:
- initiated and established the mechanisms for a £4 million Challenge Fund for Civil Society
- negotiated new programmes on behalf of DFID with UN agencies with a total value of £10 million
- led the process for identifying new behaviour change communication activities including managing the international tendering of activities with a total value of £5.5 million
- designed a M&E framework for the DFID HIV and AIDS programme
