HLSP conducted a comprehensive assessment of the health and health systems impact of public-private partnerships (PPPs) for improving access to pharmaceuticals in low and middle income countries, through long-term drug donation or discounted pricing agreements by research-based pharmaceutical companies. The review includes studies of drug access programmes in Uganda, Botswana, Sri Lanka and Zambia.
