Evaluation of EC/UNFPA Sexual and Reproductive Health Programme

HLSP conducted the final internal evaluation of the joint European Commission/UNFPA sexual and reproductive health programme in Africa and the Caribbean. Antenatal care was used as a marker to assess the performance of the programme and to identify lessons learned from implementation. At the end of the evaluation, HLSP provided information to support organisational strengthening and future policy/programme development. The assignment included 10 country evaluations (Ghana, Niger, Burkina Faso, Guinea Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Senegal, Tanzania, Jamaica and Suriname) and one inter-regional evaluation of the Dakar Management Unit.
