HLSP has joined the Global Partnership to Stop Tuberculosis (TB).

15 October 2010

To mark our commitment to reducing TB and other communicable diseases, HLSP is now a member of the Global Partnership to Stop TB.

Established in 2001, the Stop TB Partnership aims to eliminate TB as a public health problem and, ultimately, to obtain a world free of TB. It comprises a network of international organisations, countries, donors, governmental and nongovernmental organisations, and individuals that have expressed an interest in working towards this goal.

Joining the Partnership is an important step and builds on our work for the Stop TB Partnership, including a 2003 independent external evaluation of the Global Stop TB Partnership and our current role as independent monitor and evaluator of the TB Reach Initiative.
